muscles in rowing stroke

source: http://concept2.co.nz/training/getting-started/muscles-used/

in developing rowing technique, it helps to know what muscles are working at each stage of the stroke / rowing involves repetitive motion & overuse is the primary cause of injuries <29% knee, 21% back> \ pain on my biceps & shoulder made me wonder if rowing was the cause / it appears not <more likely cause was lifting weights – too much load or incorrect form>

11/19:  after two weeks of physical therapy, walt and i are about to concede that the repetitive motion of rowing could have caused my rotator cuff injury
